WSOTA DANCE COMPANIES

The WSOTA Dance Companies are for dedicated dancers, ages 8 and up, who are committed to furthering their dance education and looking for extra performance opportunities. 

WSOTA Dance Company members are provided with great performance opportunities throughout each season. All of our Companies perform in multiple dances at both of our annual dance recitals in June, as well as other events such as the "Wehner's Christmas Spectacular," the halftime show for the Harlem Globetrotters, dancing on Disney property in Orlando, among many other exciting adventures! We are always looking for new opportunities to share with our Dance Company members. We performed at the Daytona 500 on Sunday, February 19, 2023! We also attend various dance conventions/competitions around Florida and Georgia and offer exclusive in-house workshops with featured professionals. 

Over the past several years, we started including exciting dance themed trips for WSOTA Company members and their families! In December of 2017, we traveled to NYC for an all-inclusive experience including flight and private bus transport, a 5 star hotel in Times Square, all meals, guided tours of the city and other once in a lifetime opportunities such as masterclasses with the cast of Broadway's "Hamiliton," and "Aladdin." We also received a backstage tour of Radio City Music Hall along with a master class with the Radio City Rockettes before enjoying admission to the Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular! 

In June of 2019, we cruised to the Bahamas aboard Royal Caribbean's "Navigator of the Seas," where the WSOTA Dance Companies were a featured show on the main stage during our day at sea! Our dancers also received master classes on board from the ship's dance captains and tours of backstage areas, all while being able to enjoy a fun-filled and family-friendly cruise to the Bahamas!
